Your Endocannabinoid System

Your Endocannabinoid System

What is my Endocannabinoid System?

An Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is a cell-signaling structure that every living being has. First discovered in the 1990s, the Endocannabinoid system is still not fully understood but scientists have have done extensive research on how it works and what it affects.

How does my Endocannabinoid System Work?

Research is still being done on exactly how, but your ECS plays a vital role in regulating and repairing your body’s organ systems and psychological functions. This includes everything from severe pain and illness to mood, memory and how you react to daily situations and the things around you.

All throughout your Central (Brain) and Peripheral (Nerves) Nervous Systems are endocannabinoids (that your body naturally produces) and CB-receptors, the vital components in your ECS. Your Endocannabinoid System works differently in each part it of your body with one main goal- homeostasis.

How does CBD work with my Endocannabinoid System?

The key to understanding how CBD helps you is the base of your ECS, naturally occurring endocannabinods and your cannabinoid receptors. The cannabinoid receptors translate CBD to work like the endocannabinoids that your body naturally produces. To put it in simple terms, CBD binds to your ECS and stimulates unique responses in all parts of your body.

There is still much to discover about the powers and potential. Of CBD. Be apart of the journey and bring balance to your mind, soul, and body.
